Feeding Therapy.

Feeding therapy can be performed by either an occupational therapist or a speech language pathologist based on the concerns that present.  An occupational therapist will often work on sensory issues for example if a child avoids certain foods. A speech language therapist usually will work on oral motor strength.  Feeding therapy is a very complex specialty that is always evolving.  Please call our office to get more information and find out how our therapists may be able to help.
JJ got to practice desensitizing himself to applesauce by using it during play.  JJ's therapist showed him that applesauce can not only be a great track for dinos and monster trucks, but also a yummy snack.
