Jennifer Washburn
Owner
Jennifer Washburn is the owner of Hale Therapy Service, Inc. doing business as SPOT Therapy Associates. She graduated in 1996 from the University of Indianapolis with a Master's of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Jennifer has worked in various settings servicing both adults and pediatrics. She was an independent contractor for the School District of Lee County for 16 years before going into private practice.  Her areas of interest are pediatrics, feeding therapy, brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, sensory processing disorders, and pet assisted therapy.​​

Hi! My name is Isabel, I am currently at Junior at FGCU and I am studying marketing. I am expected to graduate December of 2026. When i’m not at SPOT, I love doing anything outdoors with my friends and family. SPOT is such an amazing place and I am so lucky to work here. I can’t wait to see you all around!

Lupe enjoys playing with her son, Elio when she is not at SPOT. She loves the kids she meets at SPOT and has a passion for helping families receive the services that they need!

Terry Woods
​​Office Assistant

Terry was born and raised in upstate New York and has lived in southwest Florida for the last 25 years.  Terry lives with her husband and two dogs, Daisy and Lucy. She loves living in southwest Florida as the weather and beaches are the best! Terry also enjoys cooking, traveling, fine wines, and all the great kiddos she meets at SPOT Therapy!

Dear SPOT Therapy Associates,
We came to you 3 years ago with concerns for our preemie twins. You, with open arms, accepted them as part of your therapy family. Since then, our daughter, Adelyn, has already graduated from speech and physical therapy and looking to graduate from occupational therapy in the coming year. Our son, Ivan, was very ill when he came and he has grown so much. In these 3 years, he has had more medical setbacks than most children. But, because of your office and the caring people who make SPOT such an amazing place for pediatric therapy, my son has been able to accomplish more than we could have ever imagined. Ivan has started to grab things, activate toys, eat better by mouth, stopped needing night feeds, he's also making steps in his walking braces, and I could go on and on. But what we cherish most is that you give them the room to grow, thrive, be unique and all in such a comfortable place that the kids just see as a place to play with their friends. Thank you for what could be hard times in life be an adventure with all of the things you enrich our children's life with.
